| The Soval 1042 Series Flanged × Mechanical Joint Butterfly Valve is designed for dependable flow control in waterworks, municipal, and commercial piping systems. Manufactured to ANSI/AWWA C504 Standard Class 250B, this valve is built for strength, corrosion protection, and long term performance in demanding service conditions. The valve features a rubber lined body molded and vulcanized directly to the valve body, helping provide reliable sealing and durability. It is internally and externally fusion bonded epoxy coated for corrosion resistance and is equipped with 304 stainless steel hardware as standard. With ANSI B16.1 Class 125 flanges, a mechanical joint connection, and an actuator ready top flange in accordance with ISO 5211-1, this valve gives contractors, municipalities, and distributors a practical solution for system layouts that require both connection flexibility and reliable operation. Travel Nut Actuator The valve is available with a fully grease packed travel nut actuator designed for dependable operation. Standard configuration is open left with a buried service setup, operating nut, and no position indicator. Optional configurations include above ground service with position indicator, handwheel or operating nut, and open right operation. |
