Butterfly valves are used for on-off or modulated fluid control in various industrial applications. • 1040 Series - Ductile Iron Mechanical Joint Butterfly Valve: Soval AWWA butterfly valves are made out of ductile. According to AWWA C504, the section that sets standards for butterfly valves that will be used in water pipes, the valves should be bubble tight and able to shutoff completely.
• 1041 Series - Ductile Iron Flanged Butterfly Valve: AWWA butterfly valves are made out of ductile or cast iron. According to AWWA C504, the section that sets standards for butterfly valves that will be used in water pipes, the valves should be bubble tight and able to shutoff completely. Flanges must be used to install AWWA butterfly valves.
• 405 Series - PVC Wafer Style Butterfly Valves: Our 405 Series - PVC Wafer Style Butterfly Valves feature an EPDM rubber liner, which offers high tensile strength and tear resistance.

• 840 Series - Cast Iron Wafer Style Butterfly Valve (Ductile Disc): The SOVAL 840 Series Butterfly Valve is wafer style, epoxy coated with a Cast Iron Body and Ductile Iron Disc. The 840 Series butterfly valve is used to control liquid or gas flow through pipes. The rotating disc is controlled by a 10 position lever and locking system to easily throttle the flow.
• 842 Series - Cast Iron Lug Style Butterfly Valve (Ductile Disc): The SOVAL 842 Series Butterfly Valve is Lug Style, epoxy coated with a Cast Iron Body and Ductile Iron Disc. The 840 Series butterfly valve is used to control liquid or gas flow through pipes. The rotating disc is controlled by a 10 position lever and locking system to easily throttle the flow.
• 845 Series - Cast Iron Wafer Style Butterfly Valve Lever Operated (Stainless Disc): The SOVAL 845 Series Butterfly Valve is Wafer Style, Epoxy Coated with a Cast Iron Body and Stainless Steel Disc. The 845 Series butterfly valve is used to control liquid or gas flow through pipes. The rotating disc is controlled by a 10 position lever and locking system to easily throttle the flow of media.
• 846 Series - Cast Iron Wafer Style Butterfly Valve Gear Drive (Stainless Disc): The SOVAL 846 Series Butterfly Valve is a Wafer Style, Epoxy Coated with a Cast Iron Body and Stainless Steel Disc. The 846 Series butterfly valve is used to control liquid or gas flow through pipes. The rotating disc is controlled by a gear driving that is operated by a handwheel which allows to easily throttle the flow of media.
• 848 Series - Ductile Iron UL/FM Wafer Style Butterfly Valve w/ Tamper Switch: The SOVAL 848 Series UL/FM Wafer Style Butterfly Valves has a Vulcanized Disc design that provides bubble-tight shut-off every time. Low torque operation – high cycle life. The 848 Series comes equipped with a gear drive operator which Includes a built-in Supervisory (Tamper) Switch. Fusion Bonded Epoxy Coated Interior and Exterior to AWWA C550 Standard.
• 849 Series - Ductile Iron UL/FM Grooved End Style Butterfly Valve w/ Tamper Switch: UL / FM at 300 psi. Vulcanized Disc design provides bubble tight shut-off every time. Low torque operation – high cycle life. Gear Operated. Includes built-in Supervisory (Tamper) Switch. UL / FM Butterfly Valve – Grooved Ends to AWWA C606 Standard. Fusion Bonded Epoxy Coated Interior and Exterior to AWWA C550 Standard.
