AWWA - American Water Works Association - Soval

Soval is a part of The American Water Works Association. It is an international, nonprofit, scientific and educational society dedicated to providing total water solutions assuring the effective management of water. Founded in 1881, the Association is the largest organization of water supply professionals in the world. 

Their membership includes over 4,300 utilities that supply roughly 80 percent of the nation’s drinking water and treat almost half of the nation’s wastewater. Their 51,000 total members represent the full spectrum of the water community: public water and wastewater systems, environmental advocates, scientists, academicians, and others who hold a genuine interest in water, our most important resource. 

AWWA also takes great pride in helping establish two preeminent organizations dedicated to safe water, the Water Research Foundation in 1966 and Water For People in 1991. AWWA unites the diverse water community to advance public health, safety, the economy, and the environment.

WEF - Water Environment Federation - Soval

Soval is a member of The Water Environment Federation (WEF). It is a not-for-profit technical and educational organization of 35,000 individual members and 75 affiliated Member Associations representing water quality professionals around the world. Since 1928, WEF and its members have protected public health and the environment. As a global water sector leader, our mission is to connect water professionals; enrich the expertise of water professionals; increase the awareness of the impact and value of water; and provide a platform for water sector innovation.

Previously called the Federation of Sewage Works Associations (1928), the Federation of Sewage and Industrial Wastes Associations (1950), and the Water Pollution Control Federation (1960); the name was changed to the Water Environment Federation in 1991 to reflect an expanded focus of non-point and point sources of pollution. 

WEF and its global network of members and Member Associations (MAs) provide water quality professionals around the world with the latest in water quality education, training, and business opportunities. WEF’s diverse membership includes scientists, engineers, regulators, academics, utility managers, plant operators, and other professionals. WEF uses this collective knowledge to further a shared goal of improving water quality around the world.

IA - Irrigation Association - Soval

Soval is a member of The Irrigation Association It is the leading membership organization for irrigation equipment and system manufacturers, dealers, distributors, designers, consultants, contractors and end users.
 
The IA is dedicated to promoting efficient irrigation technologies, products and services. The association serves its members and the irrigation industry by:

  • Educating the public on sound practices and water management.
  • Serving as a centralized clearinghouse for research and innovation.
  • Improving industry proficiency through continuing education.
  • Recognizing and promoting experience and excellence with professional certification.
  • Lending expertise to water-use public policy at the local, state, regional and national levels.

Together with experts and stakeholders from industry, academia and the public sector, the IA works to:

  • Define best practices for effective water management.
  • Establish benchmarks and guidelines for irrigation products and applications.
  • Promote efficient irrigation technology and practices.
  • Advocate sound policies to ensure the availability, quality and conservation of water supplies.
WASDA - Waste and Sewage Distributors of America - Soval

Soval is a member of WASDA . It is a dynamic organization setting a new standard for the water and sewer distribution industry. Led by an experienced group of knowledgeable professionals, WASDA offers expertise in diverse areas ranging from legislative developments to environmental compliance and more.

WASDA offers members the opportunity to meet fellow industry leaders throughout North America at networking events including an Annual Meeting that brings together the best of the best. WASDA continues to embrace social media as well as offer a dynamic and interactive website.

With WASDA, the future is bright for the water and sewer distribution industry.

PHCC - Soval

Soval is a member of The premiere organization for the p-h-c professional. PHCC provides legislative advocacy, education and training to approximately 3,300 plumbing and HVACR open shop and union businesses and 65,000 technicians. Our members work in the residential, commercial, new construction, industrial and service and repair segments of the construction industry.

Members of PHCC have access to a wide variety of resources and services, strengthening their reputation as the best choice for professionalism, reliable products and knowledgeable service—and as a proud protector of public health and safety and the environment.

Approximately 125 state and local association affiliates are part of PHCC’s chapter network.
